Do Dah Eve 

Do Dah weekend kicks off at Do Dah Eve on Friday, May 17th at Steel Lounge (on the corner of 1st Ave.  North & 23rd St.) where we crown this year's Do Dah king & queen!  Doors open at 7:01 PM. Tickets are $10, and the crowning takes place at 11. There will be raffle prizes, famous animal trivia, and more!

Do Dah Day

The Do Dah Day Pet Parade will begin at 11:01 am.  Live musical entertainment will follow, starting around 11:31 am in Caldwell and Rhodes Parks off of Highland Avenue near 28th and 26th Streets South. This year's band lineup will include: Luella and the Sun, Gabriel Tajeu, The Hurlers, Little House,  Mile Marker 7, Juka Tribe, The Hearts, Feather Canyon, India Ramey, and Marc Harris.

 

 

Look where your money goes...

Click here to check out some adorable puppies headed to find a forever home in Washington, D.C. thanks to the GBHS Transport system. Money raised at this year's Do Dah Day will help fund this program.

 

 

Admission is free for all.

 

Funds raised from parade registration fees, merchandise and beverage sales, and other events leading up to the festival are used to support local animal shelters. Last year, Do Dah Day raised nearly $50,000 for the beneficiaries: Greater Birmingham Humane Society and Friends of Cats and Dogs Foundation.
